Abstract

Following the recent publication of the article ‘Modified technique for retaining silicone auricular prosthesis: a case report’. Nelogi SY, Chandrashekhar NH, Porwal A. Eur J Prosthodont Restor Dent. 2011;19(2):62-6., the authors would like to advise they inadvertently overlooked the contribution and participation of an additional author – Dr.Satyabodh S Guttal. Dr.Guttal had developed a technique which was published in the Journal of Indian Prosthodontic Society. Dr.Guttal had contributed both to the clinical case (in the capacity of a faculty guide) as well as an initial draft of the manuscript. The authors believe that Dr.Guttal’s contribution is significant enough (as per ICMJE criteria for authorship) for his inclusion as an author in the paper and sincerely regret the error.
